Here's my third design of the series! Shenanigans! It's to match the dripping paint on the album cover.
**As a lot of you know, I'm quite obsessed with Green Day. So I'm taking a quick break from scenes to do something *I* actually really want to do! Requests will be on hold until I get these out. Don't worry, it won't take me long!
I'm going to be doing a makeup look inspired by each of the albums. I'll be uploading them in a random order, just which ever album I feel like doing at the time.
If you don't like Green Day, just zone out for the next couple designs. I promise I'll be back doing them in no time!
For those Green Day fans... I'm stuck on Insomniac. The imagery is too complicated for makeup and there are so many colours. Any suggestions?**
I love the simplicity of your design here. While your busier, more extravagant creations are stunning, the clean lines and even blending here create a Pop Art effect that reminds me of the Yellow Submarine artwork. I especially like the line from the tear to the corner of your eyebrow because it really unifies your design and adds to the surrealism of this look. My only caution here is about your eyebrow: its abrupt end in the front breaks the strong curve set up by your design. I realize that how far one tweezes is a very personal choice, but it seems distracting here. Your palette here is so bold, even though you're really only working with two colors--it's just a great use of blending for a well planned, well executed, well photographed look!
This is beautiful colour code as the shedded tear effect stood out marvously with the perfect black outline. The colour and effect really compliments the original eye colour of a lightish/darkish brown. along with the layer of glitter to really make it special. The design was carefully made as there is not a single smudge within the design. I think this Artist has worked very hard with her hand skills and blending the colours descently. If my tears really looked like this, I wouldn't mind if I cried. Because I would have such colourful and different tears to others. x
Simply beautiful. I love the colors and the way you blended the yellow, green, and blue so perfectly to encompass the feel of they're music. Totally awe-inspiring!! For Insomniac, it's very pieced together for the cover art, so possibly use angles and some curves to help show this? The colors are where you have me stumped simply due to the fact the artwork is very diverse in this area, though not totally unusual for the band. My best suggestion would be to play around some with different ideas and styles until one pops out at you as the perfect one. I do that a lot when I'm doing my own make up for different events. Who knows? You may find ideas for their other albums by doing so.
