Harry Potter Eyes by KatieAlves Harry Potter Eyes by KatieAlves
So many requests for Harry Potter... can't... handle...

Anyways, a CRAP load of you have been asking me about Harry Potter annnnd I finally gave in! I'd actually been meaning to do a Harry Potter one for quite some time, but I never got around to doing it. I suppose with the final movie coming out, it's the perfect time!

Now, this isn't a design of the final movie, this is of the FIRST movie. It's the scene where they're in the boats coming up to Hogwarts!

First I would like to say that this is amazing. It must have taken you a while to do this.

Vision: This was one of the scenes that stood out in the movie to me, you did a wonderful job on capturing the image.

Originality: This was very original to me because I have never seen anything like this.

Technique: Amazing. That's all I have to say. Amazing. Plus, I really love how you made the clouds and the night sky.

Impact: This was executed and the colors contrast perfectly.

I can't wait to see more of your marvelous work. :)

It's fantastic. Amazing how you were able to take the whole... magic of such a memorable moment and put it on something so small as eyes. It's not just a painting (even though your skills are, needless to say, more than extraodrinary), it's a whole world and it made me feel as the first time I read that moment of the books - your work, even with make-up, holds all the excitement and impatience of this scene, the majesty of the castle.... It's so realistic, the boats, the lights, just.. everything.

I know it's not the perfect review, but I wrote it just to show how impressed am I.

WOW so nice!!!  AMAZING.  So do you do these on your own eyes or someone else's??  Seems like it'd be hard to do on your own eyes, but I have one eye that is kinda weak, so maybe that's just me.  Anyways I really love this, I see people do cool stuff on their nails but I've never seen eye makeup down like this!  Thanks for sharing with us!

Hi I was wondering what type of art work style that this is it reminds me of the original books cover when he is catching the snitch with the blue sky and purple curtains I remember think and still do how magical and majestic this art style was.

It's not exactly a style... or at least I'm not sure what you were classify it as? I just tried to make the makeup look as realistic as possible. :)
