Yo Ho Yo Ho a Pirates life for me! So I finally did Pirates of the Caribbean. It was a pain, I had to start over after getting half way, but it's finally complete! I said I would put one up on Thursday and I finished the design at 12:00 on the dot (wednesday night, thursday morning)! Ha!
So on the left side is the Black Pearl in the moon light with all the pirates in the water below. Then it transitions over to the right eye with Jack and Elizabeth trapped on the island. There's a fire with smoke billowing up from when she set all the rum on fire!
Another design to add to the Disney Collection!
I started up a blog, and I'm looking for makeup artists to feature. Have a look: [link]
The overall colour and work put into these is excellent. The eye with the boat is wonderful. Although I do not quite know what is right above your eye lashes. The moon and clouds over the water is beautiful. The other eye confuses me a bit. I didn't know what scene this was from. A cool scene to choose from pirates of the Caribbean could have been a scene where pirates are attacking Port Royal. There you could have still used the flames and smoke and even add another scene of a boat. Perhaps (if possible) you could also have added a skull and crossbones flag on the ship to add to the pirate feel. Overall, I love the work that you do, you are very talented! Excellent job!
As you request, I critique. The only thing I have to say (besides 'WOW!') is that the left eye is fantastic, and I see your idea with the right eye, but looking at it, I didn't know that it was Jack and Elizabeth on the island. I see and understood on the far corner that that was fire, but I guess maybe because you matched the eyes with the blue of night, it confused me because the fire was dicovered during the day. Otherwise, your execution is spot-on. I absolutely loved it. I've never done this before, so I hope I didn't tell you something stupid or something completely unhelpful. I really, really liked this. Love, Grim.
