St. Patricks Day Lip Tutorial by KatieAlves St. Patricks Day Lip Tutorial by KatieAlves
Welcome to another tutorial! This one is slightly more complicated then my last one! What you need for this:

Lips! Always a good thing to have lips!
Yellowish eyeliner. I used Gosh. You can use any light colour for this, it just helps the eye shadow stick and REALLY pop!
Yellow Eye shadow. I used Annabelle. Itís freaking BRIGHT! Itís my new favorite eye shadow! Iím using it all the time!
Green liquid eyeliner. I used Gosh.
Lime eye shadow mixed with turquoise eye shadow. I used Covergirl

There are no extra brushes or pins you need for this one. Iíve used the brushes that the products came in.

You can always change the colours of this. If yellow is a little too HOLY CRAP for you, then change it to your liking. You can even skip the yellow and just do the green by itself. Even a black lip with the green clover would work well. The only thing isÖ donít put black eye shadow down where youíre putting the clover, itíll make the green darker than it should be.

Step 1.
Start with a clean base. Take off any make-up you have on.

Step 2.
Put the yellow eyeliner on the bottom of your lip. It doesnít have to look perfect, but cover all of the lip. If you go outside the line, use a q-tip to clean it up.

Step 3.
Do the same as step 2, but on the top lip. Make sure to go far into the mouth so when you move your mouth around, there isnít a big noticeable pink spot. Donít go too far that your eating it, just enough to cover it.

Step 4.
With the brush that came with your eye shadow, put it on your lips. Make sure not to miss any spots and donít pile it on, itís just going to blow off when you breath out.

Step 5.
Take your green liquid liner and follow your natural lip curve. Use your lip bumps as part of the leaf and bring it down to the center of your lips. Bring it far in once again, so no visible pink spots when we fill it in.

Step 6.
Continue the leaf, following the shape of your lips, making the clover shape. Do the top ones first, so youíll know exactly where to put the bottom leafs afterwards.

Step 7.
Use the top leaves as guild lines and make the bottom leaves. Keep your mouth close so you can see that they match up. If you need to do it with your mouth open, mark where it meets, then open. Add the stem when the leaves are done.

Step 8.
Put down the lime and turquoise eye shadow. If the colour is too yellow or blue, mix the opposite colour until itís the right colour. Make sure to go far in!

Step 9.
Continue onto the next leaf. When both are finished, you can add some green liquid liner to make it shinier and more even. The eye shadow underneath will mix in with the liner and help make it last longer. You can just do the liquid liner, but itís not as bright.

Step 10.
Continue up to the top leaves and also add a small amount onto the stem, so the colour matches.

Step 11.
Pucker up and take some pictures!

It's a bit dry, and I think the moisturizer wouldn't hurt much. It might change the colour of the yellow, but that's about it!

Whenever I do my lips, I always just moisturize before I add color.. I don't know what that would do to this look, but I do it when wearing bright red and it doesn't seem to do anything but get rid of wrinkles. Does this hurt looks like this?

Don't ever trust colored lipstick~!
1) It stains the heck out of your lips~! Like holy crap! I was walking around with blue tinted lips for a week!
2) If it doesn't stain the heck out of your lips, it'll look like crap~!
3) I don't even know any brands that make colored lipstick~! (Though I have seen blue halloween lipstick)
4) Eyeliner, vaseline/lipgloss, and eyeshadow are always the best~!!!!!
The fourth one, I've learned from you. :D

When I made my lips green so I could be the Wizard of Oz on Non-School-Uniform day, my friends looked at me weird when I told them it was eyeshadow and not lipstick xD Thank you for proving I'm not the only one who uses eyeshadow as lip colour :)

By the way, this is so totally freaking awesome :)
